It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of Retired Teacher, Mr. Johnson Basweti Matogo, the Lead Church Elder of Ekeera S.D.A. Church, on 29th June 2021 at Nakuru Provincial Hospital.
Son of the late Mzee Abraham Matogo Song’oro and the late Mama Sarah Nyabate. Loving husband of Mama Agnes Moige; Father of Eng. David Basweti (GDC), Dr. Nobert Basweti (UoN), Edgar (RVIST), Aquinas (UoN), Janet (Kempiski), Vane, Judy and Lilian. Father-in-law of Jackline, Naom, Meshack, Felix and Fred. Brother of Okigiti, Joel, Makworo, Eng Oira, Hezron, the late Onchuru, Henry, Stephen, Ombiro, Mobisa, Paul, Ombati, Nyamusi, Nyaboke, Mary, the late Agnes, the late Jane, Nyanchama and Everline Son-in-law of Christopher Aminga and Margarita Motabori. Brother-in-law of Ochwangi, Juliana, Elizabeth, Rosa, Pacifica, Francisca, Okone, Nduko, the late Mose, Moranga, Samuel, William, Nyagetuba, Ontita. Semo to the late Hudson Ondieki, the late Peter Mariera, the late Peter Onchari, Joseph Agura and David Ogutu. The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Funeral Home on Friday (9th July 2021) for a funeral service and burial to be held at the family home in Mosisa Village, Riuri Sub- Location, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County.
