It is with sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Madam Ruth Mongina Ogeto of Suguta Girls Secondary School – Nyamache. Who hails from Rigoko Village, Nyansiongo/ Gesima Scheme, Nyamira County, which occurred on 28/05/2023 at Nyangena Hospital.

Loving wife to Mwalimu George Ogeto Nyakundi (Deputy Principal of Togomin Secondary School – Bomet). Co-Wife to Emily Abuta, Margret Kinyari, Pamela Orutwa, Rose Gichana, among others.

Mother to Samson Nyakundi (Kisii University), Abigael Monyangi (Sironga Girls’) and Davison Mokaya (Kisii School).

Daughter of Mama Annah Nyanchama and the late Ombiro Morebi of Mochenwa Village, Nyamira County. Daughter-in-law to; the late Nyakundi Abuta, the late Hellen Nyaboke, the late Gechuki and Mokeira.

Sister to Beatrice Magoma, George Mogire, Sarah Bosibori, the late Rael Monyangi Nyakeri, Everline Nyamisa Nyakoe.

Sister-in-law to Bruce Mekenye, Samwel Nyakeri, Alfred Nyakoe, Samwel Abuta Nyakundi, the late Kinyari, Orutwa (South Africa), Erastus, the late Norah, the late Moraa, Eunice Monyangi, the late Christopher, Alice Moraa, Nyangweso, Momanyi, Nyang’ara, the late Nyakang’o, Lydia, Kemosi, the late Thomas, Dinah, Pamella, Peter Ogeto, Nyamweya, Onyancha, Job, Grace, Mirriam and Dennis.

Aunt to Mekenyes, Nyakoes, Nyakeris, Georges, Samwel Abutas, Kinyaris, Orutwas, Erustus, Francis Mochache and Susan Gechemba.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily at their Suneka PAG home for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nyangena Mortuary, on Thursday 08/06/2023 for burial on Friday 09/06/2023 at their home at Suneka PAG – Kisii South.
