RUTH WANJIKU MUNDERU WACHIRA

The Munderu & Kiama families regret to announce the transition from this life of their beloved Ruth Wanjiku which occurred on Wednesday 27th October at the Nairobi West Hospital. She was a career Nurse and Caregiver. Ruth is a much loved matriarch to our entire family. Her kind, loving, and warm nature endeared her to both family and friends.

She was a loving daughter of the late Moses Munderu Gakuru and the late Hannah Njeri Munderu, and wife of the Late Samuel Wachira Kiama. Co-wife to Dr. Alice Inyangala Wachira & friend to Mary Njenga. Ruth is a devoted mother to Anne, Peter, Victoria, Abigael, Njeri & Deborah, and a loving stepmother to Patrick, Ronnie, Kate & Henry. She is a sister to Peter Miricho, Joseph Kariuki, Susan Gathoni, Robert Waweru, Rose Wangari, the Late Winfred Wanjiru, Samuel Wambugu, Florence Nyawira & Edward Thogo.

Sister in Law to Joyce Wairimu, Jackson Kiruthi, James Mwangi, Anastasia Wairimu, Binti Kassim, Elijah Mbole, the Late Solomon Kiama, Grace Kiama, the late Dr. Ezekiel Kiama, Jane Kiama, Dod Kiama, Edward Kiama & Mary Kiama. Ruth is an adoring grandmother to Imani, Taji, Genesis, Ruby, Danelle, Riley, Jayden, Amara, Dalia, Ayana, Lisa among others. Cherished Aunty to Njeri(s), Shiko(s),Nyaruai(s), Njeru, Ngunjiri(s), Wamboi, Warui, Miricho(s), Mwangi, Njoki(s), Kiama(s) among others.

Friends and Relatives are meeting at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Monday 1st November and Tuesday 2nd November from 5.30pm to 8.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Thursday 4th November at 7.00am and burial follows the same day in Aguthi-lthekahuno, Nyeri County.
