It is with profound grief and humble acceptance of God’s will and his sufficient grace that we announce the promotion to glory of our mother Mrs. Ruth Wanjiru Tharao.

Daughter to the Late Edwin Mwaura and the late Charity Wairimu. A loving wife to Mr. Samwel Tharao Wachiuri. Adoring mother to Jacqueline Tharao-Kamau, Yvonne Nduta Tharao (Madison Group) and Michael Wachiuri Tharao.

Mother-in-law to James Kamau Komu (USA) and George Murugu Muthui.

Devoted Grandmother to Shane Muthui, Sean Tharao, ason Kamau & Jada Kamau (USA).

Sister to Njambi Gitonga, Murua Mwaura, Karanja Mwaura, Florence Njeri Njoroge, the late Wanjiku Mwaura, Pastor Kinyanjui Mwaura, Nene Mwaura, Njoroge Mwaura & Captain Michael Mwangi.

Beloved daughter-in-law of the late Nahasion Wachiuri Tharao & the late Mary Nduta. Step-daughter-in law to Harriet Wambui Wachiuri

Sister-in-law to the late Wanjiru, the late Gateiyo,Wanjiku, the late Mumbi, Ngure & Ngoiri. Step-sister-in-law to Francis, Wanjiru, Nyambura, Philip, Ngure & Gathugu She was a loving aunty, niece, cousin & friend to many.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday 03/08/2021 at St Luke’s ACK Church Kenyatta Parish (Kenyatta Market) at 2.00 Pm.

The cortege departs from Lee Funeral Home on Wednesday, 04/08/2021 at 9.00 am for a funeral service at ACK St. Andrews Kongothiria, Kirenga at 11.00am. We will lay her to rest at Kambaa.

In life, we loved you so very dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one else will ever fill.
