Daughter of the late Sosten Cheptabok, Regina and Magdalena.

Beloved wife of Mwalimu Alexander Rugut. Doting mother of Jomo, Charles Arusei, Mark Yego, the late Philomena Chelagat, Francine Jemeli,Vincentious Jepchumba (Australia), Daniel Yego, Leonida Jepkogei and Elsa Jepchtrchir (Australia).

Sister of Sylvester Tabut, Petronita Lagat, Mathias Tabut, the late Henry Tabut, Sister Marcella Cheptabok, Ann Chesire, the late Paul, Monica, the late Lucy, Leonida, Mark, Anthony, Andrew and Cornelious.

Mother-in-law of Maureen Yego, Michael Kosgei (Australia), Faith Yego, Bradley Staisby (Australia) and Victor Makiso.

Daughter-in-law of the late Kiprugut Rongoei and Kogo Tapsaurei. Sister-in-law of the late Kipkoech, the late Elnathan, Josphath, Osei, the late Peter, the late Stephen, Francis, Ambrose, Kiitur, the late Tiongoi, the late Trusilla, Isabella, Eullita, Martha and bot-Muzee. Grandmother of Tracy, Vianey (Australia), Carren, Kelvin, Precious, Kenan, Kelvin, Mitchelle (Australia), Kiptum, Angelo (Australia), Julian, Loretta, Danette, Austin (Australia) and Lucky.

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 05/10/2023 for Mass at her home Kapkoros on the same day from 4.00pm.

The funeral service and burial will be on Friday 06/10/2023 at home, Kaiboi Nandi County from 9.00am.
