SALLY RUO MUNENE

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing of Sally Ruo Munene on 13th September, 2020.

Loving wife of John Munene Waruhiu, mother to Amara Nasieku, Aden Mburu and Austin Ruo. Daughter of Fredrick Rua Muuiri and Ether Wanjiku Rua. Daughter-in-law to Mary Nasieku Waruhiu and the late Peter Mburu Waruhiu. Sister to Danson Muturi Ruo & Teresia Njeri Muturi, Gidraf Mbugua Ruo & Caroline Wanjiku Mbugua (USA), the late Boniface Njuku Ruo & Grace Nieri Njuku. Sister-in-law to Eva & Mucha; Mathare, Diana & Johannes Magnusson (Sweden) and Njoki & Andrew Kabugua. Loving and caring aunt to several nephews and nieces. Cousin and friend to many who dearly loved her.

The cortege leaves Coptic Hospital Mortuary at 8:00am on Friday, 18th September 2020 then proceed thereafter for the funeral and burial service at the Waruhiu Cemetery in Giathieko, Kiambu at 11:00arn.

All the wisdom that you shared, all the joy that you spread, all the love that you gave, will forever remain with us. – Your light will always shine, never to be forgotten. Fare thee well dear Sally.
