SALOME AUMA WAMALWA

11th November, 1941 – 7th October, 2022

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Salome Auma Wamalwa which occurred on Th October 2022.

Daughter of the late Martin Makio and the late Marcella Nasirumbi Aburi. Daughter-in-law to the late Reuben Wamalwa and the late Priscilla Naburi Nagwanga.

A loving wife of the late Eli Augustine Namaindi Wamalwa. Devoted mother to Nellie, the late Deklan, the late Joan, Bernard Mubinja Wamalwa (Former Speaker Busia County), Elizabeth Majale, Priscilla, Gerald, Reuben and Albert. Mother-in-law to the late Bob Mukhongo, Judy Omollo Wamalwa, Levis Majale and Grace Wanjiru Wamalwa.

Sister to the late Sr. Anna Makio, the late David Makio, the late Helena, the late Herenia, Peter Okello amongst others. Sister-in-law to the late Habil & the late Eserea Majanja, the late James Halonyere & the late Mary Khavugwi Wamalwa,the late Dr. William Ouko & Rose Ouko, the late Martin Wandera & Margaret Wandera, an aunt and cousin to many.

A loving devoted and caring grandmother to Derrick, Dennis, the late Cecil, Gloria, Tony, Martin, Darlene, Sasha, Eli, Edel, Eileen, Xavier, Noels, Cecil Jr, Anaya, Nuru, Tehila and Shani. Great-grandmother to Ninelle, Sallie, Joanna, Tuzinde, Fabrice, Bernard and Levis Jr.

Requiem mass will be held at St.Cecilia Catholic Church Dahiro, Samia- Busia County on Thursday, 20th October 2022 at 11.00am. Burial will be on Saturday, 22nd October 2022 at the family home in Bukiri Village, Samia, Busia County.
