It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Samson Kipkemei Kandie (Former Athlete) of Kapchesundo Flax after being attacked by assailants at his Elgon view home Son of Kigen Kandie Chesundo and the late Zipporah Kigen and Emily Kigen.

Beloved husband of Rose Rotich (Kabarnet District Hospital).

Doting father of Rodgers Kandie (Australia), Collins Kandie (Canada), Kelvin Kandie (Australia), Viena Kandie and Greg Kandie (Maranda School) Brother of Nicholas Kimitei, Emmanuel Kigen, Joel Barmasai, the late Nathaniel Kandie, Esther Kigen, Johnston Kigen, Joseph Kigen, Pauline Kigen, Richard Kigen, Silas Kandie, the late Jepchirchir Kigen, Patrick Kandie, Marion Kandie, Gideon Kandie, Sharon Kandie, Gilbert Kandie, Laban Kandie.

Son-in-law of Kaboinett family of Burnt Forest.

Brother-in-law and uncle to many.

Grandfather of Gadiel Kipchirchir Kemei and Gavin Kiptoo Kemei.

The funds drive to offset funeral expenses will be held today, Tuesday 16 th October 2024 at his home, Elgon View estate, Eldoret from 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Eldoret hospital on Thursday 17th October 2024 for an overnight vigil at his home, Kapsundei Flax.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Friday 18th October 2024 at his farm, Kapsundei village, Flax, Uasin Gishu County from 9.00am
