SAMUEL MBURU KAGO

1941-2020

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the demise of Samuel Mburu Kago, which occurred on Thursday, 22nd October 2020 at Nairobi West Hospital after a long illness. He was from Lari Location, Kamuchege Sub-Location Karinga Village.

Son of the late Rev. Daniel Kago and the late Esther Njeri. Husband of Lucy Wamaitha Mburu. Son-in-law of the late Timothy Kaweru and the late Leah Wambui (Githaruru Gatundu South). Father of the late Kago Mburu and Martha Wanjiku, Timothy Kaweru and Tabitha Wanjiku, Francis Ndathia and Esther Ngugi, George Mbugua and Margaret Wangare, Josephine Njeri, Peter Muiruri and the late Simon Kamau.

Brother of Mary Wanjiku Mukiri, Hannah Wangari Karanu, George Mbugua Kago, Cecilia Nungari Mukaru, Clement Kamau Kago and Alice Wambui Mwangi. Grandfather of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence in Karinga Village.

The cortege leaves Mukore Mortuary at 9.30am. A Requiem Mass will be held at St. Lawrence Karinga Catholic Church on Wednesday 28th October 2020 from 11.00am thereafter burial will be held at his home.
