SAMUEL RUGONGO MUTURI

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Samuel Rugongo Muturi (Warugongo) which occurred on 1st August 2020 in Nairobi Hospital after a short illness.

Beloved husband of Agnes Njeri Rugongo, son of the late Francis Muturi Rugongo and the late Ruth Njeri Muturi. Step son of the late Alice Wambui Muturi. Father of Eric Muturi Rugongo, Ken Kamau Rugongo and Eddy Kimani Rugongo. Godfather of Daniel Muturi Wangari. Brother of Damaris Wacera, Josephine Wangui, Margaret Muthoni Waithanji, Justus Njonge Muturi, Ruth Wambui Muturi, Rachael Waceke, Zakaria Kamau Muturi, Susan Wangari Muturi and Daniel Njoroge Muturi. Step brother of Samuel Rugongo. Uncle of Fred Muturi, Samuel Rugongo among others. He was also a grandfather of Many. Brother-in-law of Mary Ngoiri Kamau, Jacinta Wanjiru, Margaret Gathoni Kamau, the late John Ngigi Kamau and Ruth Wanjiru Ngigi.

The cortege shall leave Lee funeral home tomorrow 5th August 2020 at 8.00am for Kiambu. Burial will be held at Lari Sub County, Kinale location, Hato Village.
