SARAH ATIENO OKWARO

It’s with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah Atieno Okwaro of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Nairobi Headquarters, which occurred at the Karen Hospital I.C.U. after a long illness bravely borne.

Sarah was the beloved daughter of the late Phillip Nyakwaka Moi, Josephine Nyakwaka and Jane Nyakwaka of Anyuongi, Bondo. She was the beloved wife of Willis Odhiambo Okwaro (formerly of KRA). Loving mother to Kevin, Bill, Erick and Phillip.

He was a loving sister to John Gondi, Roselyn, Festus Nyakwaka, Rebecca, among others. Daughter-in-Law to the late George Shadrack Okwaro, the late Julia Okwaro and the late Nelly Okwaro of Kamagambo, Rongo. Sister-in-Law to Pamella, Alice,Wilfred, Esther, Jackline, Erick, Jerry, Neville, Hellen, John and Margaret.

Co-wife to Berlyn, Beryl, Esther, Sharon and Ella. Aunty to Josephine, Sally, Fredrick, Phillip, Cindy, Sylvie, Peter, Steve, Zico, Joan, Desmond, Susan, Lydia, Bertha,Tony, Lorraine, Gilbert, Brandon, Audrey, Wendy, Ryan, Keyler, Gweth, Jonathan, Sarah, Stephanie, Baraka, Jabali, Amani, Jane, Prudence, Sipho, Sally and Fana, among others.

There will be a funeral service at S.D.A. Church New Life, along 5th Ngong Avenue in Nairobi on Wednesday, 16/02/2022 from 10am.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home in Nairobi on 17/0112022 for final internment at her home in Kasere, Rongo, Migori County on Friday, 18/02/2022.
