SARAH MUTHEMBWA NZYUKO

It is with humble submission to God’s will that we announce the passing on of Shush Sarah Muthembwa Nzyuko (Lucy), which occurred on Thursday 12th November 2020, after a short illness. She was born in Miumbuni village, Uvaleni Sub-location, Kasikeu Location, Mukaa Sub-county Makueni County.

Daughter of the late Nthei Waema and the late Mbeneka Waema. Sister of the late Kavilu Susu and the late Sister Syunuu, the late Muindi Nthei and late Mateng’e Nthei. Beloved wife of the late Daniel Nzyuko Mbuvi. Mother of Pastor Ernest Nzambia Nzyuko, the late John Matoni Nzyuko, Ann Mutungwa, Ndeleve Kitele and Ruth Nduku King’oo.

She has left behind 35 grandchildren, amongst them the MP for Kilome Constituency – Hon Eng. TK. Nzambia, Susan Mueni, Wambua Mutungwa, Faith Kingoo, Kamuti Matoni, Wambua Kitele (Kalembe), Peter Kiamba, among others. She has also left behind 69 great-grandchildren, Joy Kithua, Mutheu Mbithi, Annah Kasikwa (Kamama), Lawrence Kiamba,Adrian Kithua, among others.

Funeral arrangements and bereavement meetings are ongoing at her home in Kilome Constituency.

She will be laid to rest on Friday 20th November 2020, at her matrimonial home – Muua Village, Kasikeu Division, Kilome Constituency, Makueni County, Kenya.
