SARAH NJOKI NGUMI, HSC

Born: 1928 – Died: 17/9/2021

With thanksgiving to God and humble acceptance of His will, we announce that the late Sarah Njoki Ngumi went to be with the Lord on Friday 17109/2021.

Wife of the late Douglas Ngumi. She was mother to Margaret and the late Dr. Moses Thuo, Peter and Prof. Zipporah Ngumi, James and Rachel Ngumy, Elizabeth and Kariithi Kiarie and late John David and Joyce Mirie. Stepmother to late Marion Njeri Gathendu, late Bartholomew Wathingira Ngumi, late John Walter Kibe, late Abigail Wangui Douglas, Samuel Mirie,Andrew Mungai, late Isaac Njoroge, Dr. Paul Gikubu (USA) and Grace Wairimu Munyinyi. Grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Prayer meetings are being held daily at her son’s James Gichia Ngumy’s home.

The funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Church Karuri, Banana on Friday 24th September 2021 starting at 11am and interment will follow at her home in Banana.

Sarah has fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith (2 Tim 4:7).

May the name of the Lord be praised.
