SENIOR CHIEF DANIEL NAMAGWA

1931 – 2021

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Mute Daniel Namagwa, retired Senior Chief Sarnia.

Son of the late Peter Bwire and Paskalia Agunda Namenya. Husband toV eronita Abumba (Nakoio) ,the late Facitus Malimbe (Nakhone), Hellena Mugeni (Nakhabi) and the late Rose Auma (Natwenge).

Brother to the late Paulo Odairo, the late Akumu, the late Nicholas Wanders, the Late Benard Achibo, Prisca Ounn, Felicitus Maiga, James Otoro, Wilbroda Odenda, Roseline Atieno and Boniface Oliambo among others.

Father to Christopher Wandera, the late Agnes Alianda, Agripina Nabwire, Meittis Ondwasi, the late Fredrick Nabwana,Tabu Lwanga, the late Jacob Katiba, SP Patrick Namagwa, Pasialia A.gunda, Peterkings Bwire, Isaac Manta, Wilfred Ojiambo, Moryn Namagwa, Amos Onyango, Antony Dokku, Humphrey Oduori, Catherine Ogutu, Christine Asiba and Sylvester Willys. Father-in-law to Difina, Beatrice, Fosca, Milka, Lucy, Pamela, the late Rosa, Eunice, Mercy, Nakhulo and Dorine. Uncle to the Odairos, Masombos, Achibos, Oumas, Maigas, Masakhatiasi Wanderas, Ayiyos among others. Grandfather and great-grandfather of 133.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Ganjala, Samia for funeral preparations.

The cortege leaves Tanaka Nursing home on Friday 9th April 2021 for an evening vigil at his home in Ganjala followed by burial at his Edakha home on Saturday 10th April 2021.
