It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the Passing on of our Family Matriarch Serah Njeri Kiptoo that occurred on Saturday, 22nd July, 2023.

Daughter of the late Ayub Gathu and Hannah Wanjiku Kabara.

Wife of Stephen Kiptoo Cheptum.

Sister of the late Rewel, the late Simion, the late Reuben, the late Kibuilca, the late Joseph and Mary.

Mother to Ann, the late Samuel, the late Grace, Lucy, Joel, Mary, Alice and Violet.

Mother-in-law to Mburu, Ann, the late Phillip, Col. Chepkoin, Janet, the late Dr. Koech and Wilson. Grandmother to 27, great grandmother to 20 great great grandmother to 2.

The cortege leave MTRH on 4th August, 2023 at 11.00am for memorial service and night vigil at her home Kaptagat/Bombo next to Kapatagat children’s home. Funeral service shall take place on Saturday, 5th August, 2023 at her home in Kaptagat.

In God’s hands may you rest peacefully dear Mum and may you dance with angels for you are one of them, dear Cucu.
