SERAH WANJA JAOKO

It is with deep shock and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Serah Wanja Jaoko (UNEP), which occurred on Sunday, 16th October, 2022, while undergoing treatment at The Nairobi Hospital.

Beloved wife to Eric E. Jaoko (REREC). Daughter to the late Francis Muiruri Kamanathi and Lay Canon Margaret Muiruri Kamanathi of Mararo Village, Lower Kabete. Daughter-in-law to the late James Aggrey Jaoko and the late Mary Akello Jaoko.

Loving mother to Mercy Jaoko (Strathmore University), Stephanie Jaoko (Strathmore University) and Debra Jaoko (St. Peters Elite Academy – Gilgil).

Sister to Alice & Johnson, the late Isabel, Rose, Nancy and James & Celina Mugane. Sister-in-law to the late Mildred, Rose & Douglas (USA), Mark & Josephine, the late Elizabeth, John, the late Benjamin and Esther & Ken.

Aunty to Linda, the late Daphne, Gerry, Derrick, Christine, Greg, Michelle, Francis, Sharon, Peter, Gabriella, Nduati, Shawn, Jakes, Sydney, Opondo, Tanisha, Muthoni, Roy, Brolyn and Maria.

Prayer meetings and funeral arrangements are taking place daily at her Karen residence.

There will be a fundraiser on Monday, 24th October, 2022 at Nairobi Central SDA Church (Maxwell), at 5.30pm.

A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday 26th October, 2022 at 10:00am, at the Nairobi Central SDA Church (Maxwell).

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on 27th October, 2022 for burial that will be held on 28th October, 2022 at their rural home in Ugenya South,Yiro.
