In submission to God’s perfect will, we announce the death of Silas Omolo Kwaka after a long illness bravely borne.

Beloved son of Bishop FCPA Erastus Kwaka Omolo and Reverend Agnes Kwaka of Kisumu Nyahera. Father of Amour, Emma, Lucas and Jabali. Brother of Fred Kwaka, Truphie Kwaka-Sumba, Thomas Kwaka [Big Ted] and Lily Kwaka. Brother-in-law of Sylvia Birica-Kwaka, Daudi Sumba and Dr. Sophie Gitonga. Uncle of Agnes, Jonathan, Zuri, Fred Eral, Nehilet and Nyashadanze among others. Grandson of the late Sephenia Omolo Madanji and Truphosa Awiti; the late Jackson and Elizabeth Ashihundu. Also of Fanuel Oketch Ogumbo. Nephew of Rogers and Beatrice Omolo, Mary Akich, Ruth and Peter Obaje, Joshua and Nellie Olang’, Caleb and Mika Odongo, Caren and Kepha Odada, Tom Oketch, Ruth Okoth-Ogendo, Aggrey Ashihundu, Dorcas Mate, Dr. Rose Otieno Kajwang’, Ngina, Stanfeel ‘,Moo Misigo, Phoebe Ongiri Ochola, Caren Amolo, Richard Misigo, Jeremiah K’Ogallo, Patrick Bob Madanji and Mzee Adero Onunga among others. Cousin of Cyprine,Turrie, Kevin, Norah, George, Brian, Olivia, Goodwins, Jude, Victor, Morine, Irene, Peter and Shayana, Edwin, joy, Fred, Steve Misigo, Omondi, Charity, Steve Aloo, Esther and Alvin Ogingo among others. He was also a special friend to Stella.

There will be a Come-Give and Leave funds’ drive on Thursday 19th March 2020 at CITAM Valley Road from 5.30pm.

Funeral service – Thursday 26th March at CITAM Valley Road, Nairobi from 9.30am.

Burial – Saturday 28th March at his parents’ home in Kisumu Nyahera.
