SILVANA KARIMI MWONGERA

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Silvana Karimi Mwongera.

Wife of the late Joseph Mwongera. Loving mother of Pauline, Ferdinanda, Felix, Anisia, Ephantus (Retired Senior Chief, (goji), Speranza (Meru County Council), Irene (HSC – Headteacher, Oloolua Primary), Lucy, the late Kennedy Kinja and Rita (Headteacher Pakase Primary). Daughter of the late M’Nkiria and the late Ann Ciogweni. Sister of the late Ngaitano and Charles Muindi. Mother-in-law of Salvatore Kithinji, Salvatore Mwebia, Silvester Kirimi, Edward Gitobu, Mwenda Muguongo, Mwari Kajuju, Kaimuri and Kathugusi. Auntie, grandmother and great-grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Mwenda Muguongo’s residence, in Oloolua, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Mbagathi, on Saturday 16th October, 2021, at 6.00am. A requiem mass will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, Kieni Kia Ndege Igonji, Imenti South. She will thereafter be laid to rest at her home in Kinoru, Igoji East.
