SIMEON KIBUTUK MAGOI (KAPCHEPSEBA)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our Patriarch, Mzee Simeon Kibutuk Magoi (Kapchepseba) of Kapkatembu village, Kipkaren Salient, Mosop, Nandi County on 17th August 2020.

Son of the late Kiberen Maiyo and Salome Maiyo (Tapkurgoi). Beloved husband of Sally Jemanyur Magoi. Brother of Leah Jepchirchir (Bot Sitienei), the late Tongoi (Bot Kipkogei-Kapkeen), the late Margaret Barngetuny (Bot Chelol-Kapmwogoi) and the late Sarah Murei (Bot Chepkenei-Kapchomu). Loving father of Julia Lagat, Philemon Buttuk (Multimedia university, Nairobi), David Buttuk (Soliton Telmec Ltd, Mombasa), Dorcas Rotich (Mlango Adventist Pri), Alice Ronoh, Ruth Tuwei, Henry Buttuk (Sosiot Girls sec, Kericho), Hellen Magoi (AUSTRALIA) and the late Lameck Chepseba. Father in Law of Margaret Buttuk, Caroline Buttuk, Mellah Buttuk, Sharline Chepsebah, the late Andrew Lagat, Samson Rotich, the late Samwel Rono and Caleph Tuwei. Son-in-law of the late Mr & Mrs Kibitok Choge (Kaptai) and the late Mr & Mrs Kipchobong Leting (Kap matelong). Brother in-law of Lawrence Sitienei, John Bitok, Wilbert Kipsang Choge, Salome Bartonjo among others. He was blessed with several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Funeral service and burial will be held today, Thursday 20th August 2020 at his farm in Kapkatembu village, from 8am.
