SIMON MATUNDA NYAKUNDI
With deep sorrow and in humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Simon Matunda Nyakundi, Managing Director of Kingsland Court, on 8th August 2024 at Aga Khan University Hospital.
He was the beloved son of the late Stanley Nyakundi Maangi and Callen Nyamoita Nyakundi.
Simon was a dedicated husband of Eveline Nyakerario Nyakundi and a loving father of Sean Stanley Nyakundi. Brother of Margaret, Sophia, Jane, Laban, Eric, Edwin, Violet, and Victor, and a cherished brother-in-law of Kennedy, James, the late Joram, John, Noel, Rose, Immaculate, Edna, Sarah, the late Kevin, Manono, Salome, Stella, Oduor, Peter, Nancy, Edward and Cynthia.
Simon was the treasured grandson of the late Maangi and Nyanchoka, and the late Kerosi and Mosinya, and a devoted son-in-law of Machaka Nyakundi Auma and Elizabeth Gesare Nyakundi.
He was beloved nephew of the late Osumo, the late Mokaya, the late Onsomu, the late Lucia, the late Jeremiah, Elizabeth, Bochaberi, Nyamoita, Daniel, and John.
He was uncle, cousin, colleague, and friend to many.
Fundraising to defray the medical and funeral expenses will be held on Monday, 19 th August 2024, at 5:00 pm, at Nairobi Central SDA Church, Old Sanctuary.
The Funeral Church Service is scheduled for Tuesday, 20th August 2024, at Nairobi Central SDA Church, starting at 2:00 pm, with an additional Church Service on Thursday, 22 nd August 2024, at Crater SDA Church, Nakuru, starting at 8:30 am.
