SIMON MURIGU WANJANG’I

In humble acceptance of God’s Sovereign will, we announce the passing to Glory of Simon Murigu Wanjang’i of the New KCC, which occurred on 11th June, 2020.

Beloved husband of Mercy Gathigia. Son of the late Wanjang’i Murigu and the late Charity Wanja. Adoring father of Charity Wanja Kamau (Equity Bank), Dennis Wanjang’i (KRA) and Brian Gatheru (St. Paul’s University). Grandfather of Emma Wanjiku and father-in-law of JamesBilly Kamau (Mayfair Bank).

Brother of Beatrice Wanjiru, the late Esther Wangeci, Nancy Wanjugu, Purity Gakenia Waichari, Charles Kaguamba, the late Mary Njoki Gituiku and George Wamae (KCA University).

Son-in-law of the late Stephen Gatheru and the late Zipporah Ngima. Brother-in-law of Grace Nderi, Mwaniki, Njuki, Githinji, late Muthoni, Nyamuiru, Nyambura and Wambui.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary, Karatina on Friday, 19th June, 2020 at 7am for funeral and burial service at Mbogo-ini village, Mathira Sub-County, Nyeri County. There shall be strict observance of the government’s Covid-19 control measures and guidelines.
