SIMON WANJOHI KARURI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Simon Wanjohi Karuri, which occurred on 18th September 2022.

Son of late Phares Karuri and late Elishiba Wamuyu of Gathumbi, Nyeri. Beloved husband to Josephine Wambui. Loving father to Pauline Wangari, Jane Wamuyu, Dickson Karuri, Patrick Maina, Michael Karugu, Anne Nyaguthii and Caroline Nyawira.

He was father in-love to Peter, Samson, Margaret, Lydiah, Jane, Sarah, Caroline and Murimi.

He was grandfather to Angela, Jacqueline and Allan, Michelle, Brenda, Martin,Tracy, Ernest, Anne, Joan,Victor, Abel, Alvin, Joy, Kate, Sasha, Hope and Faith. A doting great Grandfather to Alpha.

Brother to late Mwangi, Esther Nyaguthii, late Paul Muraguri, late Mugo, Ngima and Muthoni. Step brother to late Peris, late Kibue, Nyaguthii Karuria, late Joseph Muraguri, late Wangu, Njogu and late Muchoki. He was brother-in-law, Uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers at the family home in Gichaka, Ol-joro-orok Ward in Nyandarua County; and at Public Service Club, Upper Hill, Nairobi, from 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru, on Friday 21st October at 9.00am for the funeral service and burial at his home in Gichaka, Ol-joro-orok ward in Nyandarua County, at 10.00 am.
