SNR. CHIEF STANLEY ALUMA OMOLO “WUOD NYA UMA, OKEW KARACHUONYO”

 1942 – 2022

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of beloved Snr. Chief Stanley Aluma Omolo which occurred on 3rd October 2022.

Senior Chief Stanley Aluma Omolo was born in 1942. He was the first child of the late Philip Omolo Nyadbo of Kanyadier location and Margarita Owuor Ogola of Karachuonyo Kokoth. Chief wedded Mama Margaret Otieno Nyangla of Gem Asumbi in 1963. He later married Clementina Anyango of Gongo, Kagan, the late Mary Achieng of Kanyamwa and Linet Akinyi of Gongo, Kagan.

Father to the late Michael Obote, Lazarus Lamoh,Anna Achieng, Hon. George Peter Opondo Kaluma, Judith Akoth, the late Gorety Akinyi, Jane Atieno, Cornel Oluoch, Grace Adoyo, Ronald Odhiambo, Joyce Achieng, Denish Ogutu, Everline Atieno, Sarah Akinyi, Kenneth Otieno, Maureen Achieng, Samwel Odhiambo, Fredrick Odwuor, Victor Ochieng,Yvonne Atieno, and Velma Adhiambo.

Brother to Siprina Awino Ogure, Rev. Willyse Nona Omolo, Milton Odira, Hilda, Atieno, Pamela, Beatrice, Teresa, Ulda, and John Ochieng.

Cousin of John Liech, Odoyo Liech, Peter Liech, Gilbert Ogola, John Ogola, Benard Odhiambo, Vitalis Ooga, Otiende Ooga, Denish Ooga, Paul Ogola, Richard, Nerea, Ouru, among others.

Brother in-law to late Dr Grace Aoko Omolo, Florence Habwe Nona, Macella Odira, Beatrice Odira, and Mary Ochieng.

Daughters in law include: Hon. Meresia Opondo, Pamela Lamoh, Pauline Obote, Phoebe Obote, Olga Lamoh, Florence Lamoh, Eunice Oluoch, Mercy Ronga, Mercy Ronald, Elizabeth Adhiambo, Berryl Atieno, Christine Awino, and Georgina Barraka.

He leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren including Evans Nana Obote, Naftali Otieno Lamoh, Lilian Adhiambo, Mercy Akoth, Felix Lamoh,Yvonne Awuor, Patrice Lumumba, Caroline Andele, George Peter Kaluma Jnr, Babu Gerald Stanley, Achieng, Witsel, Quinter, Doreen, Domnic,Washington, Lorraine, Harriet, Otieno, Juliet, Ouma, Brandy, Naomi, Seba, Rinny, Babji, Maxi, oseph and Melik, among others.

He is uncle to Hon. Edwins Kakach, Mercy Akinyi, Joshua Omolo, Dr Pauline, Hon, Judith Omollo, Tr. Fredrick Oyugi, Victor Awino, Samson Onyango, Faith Jennifer, Philip, Kennedy, Shem, Fredrick, Lilian, Owino, Ouma, Dancun, Sila, Hezron, Odhiambo, and Ochieng, among others.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home in Rangenya village, Ndiru Primary School, Rodi Kopany for prayers and burial arrangements.

He will be laid to rest on 22nd October 2022 at his rural home in Rangenya village, Rodi Kopany, Hama Bay County.
