It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the passing of Mrs. Sofia Kilel. She passed away while receiving treatment at Nairobi West .

The beloved daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Togom of Makimeny Village. Kind-hearted sister to Kiptonui Korgoren, Tabutany Serem, Sigilai Arap Ngecher and Alice Chirchir. Loving wife to Mr. Ezekiel Kilel and co-wife to Bornes Kilel. Blessed mother to Betsy Chepkoech, Edna Chemutai, Ronald Bett, Beatrice Chelangat, Rose Chepkurui, Lesna Cherotich, Weldon Bett and Karen Chepkemoi.

Doting grandmother to the late Catherine, Dennis, Caroline, Eric, Chebet, Jacky, Robin, Sylvia, the late Viola, Catherine, Aaron, Allan, Mercy, Enoch, Beatrice. Elvis, Edward, Faith, Allen, Faustine, Dorothy, Karen, Billy, Aaron, Diana, Cynthia, Barbra, Rurh, Abigail, Elisha, Ezra, Emmanuel, WRowny and Kevin.

Caring great-grandmother to Leon, Junior, Damaciline, Shannel, Bethwel, Faith, Dorcas, Kevin, ChepKemoi, Nathalie, Harriet, Valentine, Ashley, Adriel, Caren, Maxwell, and Fabian. Kind-hearted mother-in-law to James, Joseph, Alice, Eli, Samuel, Norah, and Richard.

The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday 28th May 2021 at 10am for the church service at Kiplokyi in Bomet County. The burial ceremony will be held on Saturday 29th May 2021.
