SOFIA TEMUGE

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Sofia Temuge.

She was the 2nd last born to the late Arwasa Taptugen and the late Taparguren. She was a sister to the late Kipkirui, Kiplukwo, Kasus, Rhoda, Mrs. Birech and Martha. She was married to the late Joshua Temuge and she was blessed with 9 children namely; The late Sila Ruto, the late Sarah, The late Isaiah Rutto, the late Anne Karani, Alice Mutai, Samwel Rutto, Rose Kenyoru (USA), Viola Temuge and Everlyne Langat. She was the second wife to Joshua Temuge, was co-wife to Elizabeth Temuge and step mother to Timothy Rutto, Andrew Rutto, Mathew Rutto, Simion Rutto, Elijah Rutto, Edah Birir, the late Esther and Dorcas.

She was Mother-in-law to Kiprono Mitei, Joseph Karani, Isaiah Mutai, Dr. Abel Kenyoru, Naftali Marucha and Samwel Langat. Her daughter in laws were Martha and Sarah, Rael Rutto and Gaudecia Rutto, Elizabeth Rutto and Veronicah Rutto. She was blessed with 56 grandchildren and many great -great-grandchildren.

Burial will be held on 29th September 2020 at Kericho County, Kericho West Sub-County, Belgut Division, Waldai Location, Sosiot Sub-Location, Meregure Village.
