SOLOMON KAGIKA MUCHANGI

It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the passing on of Mr Solomon Kagika Muchangi that occurred on Saturday 24th August 2024.

Son of the late Josiah Muchangi Kamanu and Josephine Wanini Muchangi.

He was husband of Cecilia Wanjiru Kagika and father of Josephine Wanini Shiramba (USA), the late Christine Caroline Wamaitha Douglas and Josiah Muchangi Kagika.

Father in-law of Benjamin Shiramba (USA) and Penny Njeri Muchangi. Grandfather of Baraka Kagika Shiramba (USA) and Blake Wanjiru Douglas (USA).

Brother of the late Samson Kamanu, the late Hellen Njeri Mwangi,Wilson Gacanja, Rosemary Waithira, the late Gidraf Mwaniki and James Gachoka.

Son-in-law of the late Silvano Mbuthia (Mwega) and Zaweria Wamaitha Mbuthia.

Funeral preparation meetings are being held at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi on Thursday 29th and Friday 30th August 2024 from 5.00pm to 7.00pm and on Saturday 31st August 2024 from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.

There will be a requiem service on Sunday 1st September 2024 at AIC Ziwani Church from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma / Monalisa Funeral Home Mbagathi Way Nairobi on Wednesday 4th September 2024 at 6.00am.

Thereafter, a funeral service will be held at AIC Kwamburu Church, Nyahururu opposite Ndururumo High School from 10.30am.

Internment will follow after the service at his home in Nyahururu.
