SOLOMON MUGAO MUKIIRA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr Solomon Mugao Mukiira of Marlene Village in Tunyai Location, Tharaka-Nithi County, which occurred on 9th November 2020.

Son of the late M’Mukiira Muugi and the late Gatoro Mwando. Brother of the late M’Mwaria, the late M’Mwenda and the late Kanyamu. Husband of Tabitha Karuru (Nduru). Son-in-law of the late Andrew Mwathi Kiige, Nkima and Karea. Brother-in-law of Mark Kiongo Mwathi, Jacob Mbii, the late Sarah Kanyua and Deborah Kanugu. Father of the late Maruta, the late Ruth Karimi, David Kithure “Mambo” (KNUT Tharaka), Stephen Muthoomi, Jeremiah Nyaga, Ann Karea Mate and Elizabeth Kaithi. Father-in-law of Muthengi, Gaceri, Mpwi, Muriuki and Njiru. Uncle of the late Kathure, Nyamu, Njeu, Kaguna, Kaamba, the late Ciakau, Gakundi, Gachugu, Karugo, Karea-ikwa, Debora, Mbura, Mbura Rumuri, the late Grace, Mbura Mwenda, Karimi Rumuri, Karimi Mwenda and Kagendo, among others. Grandfather of Munene, Kimathi, Clifford, Kiramba, Yankee, Muriungi, Karithi, Millcent, Mugambi, Kathambi, Mwenda, Njukl, Ngugi, Ndwiga, Gatumi, Kawira, Mutethia, Mike and Blessy, among others. Great grandfather of Mwangangi, Ivy, Karani, Ruth, Leahjudy and Otieno, among others.

Solomon will be laid to rest on Friday,20th November 2020. The cortege will leave Consolata Mission Hospital Mortuary, Nkubu, on the same date at 8:00am for a funeral service and burial at his home in Marlene Village.

A loving husband, caring father and kindest grandfather. A man of wisdom. Fare thee well, till we meet again.
