SOLOMON NDUNG’U RIE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Solomon Ndung’u Rie which occurred on the morning of Saturday 15th August, 2020 peacefully in his sleep.

The first born of the late Rie Kariuki and the late Hannah Wairimu. Loving husband of the late Sarah Magiri Ndung’u and a beloved father of Josephen and Kanyongo, Esther and Muchoki, the late Rie and Wairimu, Jane and Michuki, Rose and Githumbi, Frashier and Makara, The late Phoeby, Sammy and Muthoni, Judy and David, Ngugi and Wanjiku, Michael, David and Gathoni.

Brother of the late Jane Njeri Gatome, the late Peter Ngugi, John Ng’ang’a, the late Stanely Kinyua, Virginia Wanjiru, Rev. James Kabui, Sammy Kamande of CFF Komarock, Cecilia Wanjiku. Grandfather of 33 grandchildren and great grandfather of 20. He was a friend to many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Kenol on Friday 21st August, 2020, at 8.30 AM for burial ceremony at the family rural home, Sabasaba Gakarati. Due to Covid-19, there are no formal meetings. For any information contact any member of the family.
