SOPHIA BARONGO MORARA

We regret to announce the passing on of madam Sophia Barongo Morara of Koolridge Academy, Syokimau on 16th July 2020.

Wife of Douglas Morara, and loving mum of Isaac Moturi, Daniel Nyambati and Sarah Mong’ina. Daughter of the late Joseph Mokoro and Monica Mokoro of Keumbu, Eremo village. Daughter-in-law of Jackson Mokaya and the late Annah Kerubo Mokaya of Gianchere. Sister of Lydia Kemunto, Robert Orina, Damian Obwoge, Leonard Makori, Dickson Oginda, Caroline Bonareri, Christine Ogake, Rayford Kibeti and Judy Kwamboka.

Sister-in-law of Rose Sereti, Henry Momanyi, Monica Orwochi, Grace Mengo, Joyce Maragia, Jane Onyancha, Kennedy Ogero and Patrick Nyagaka. Niece of the late Orina, Onkoba, the late Nyambati, Agnes, Mosinya, Mokeira, the late Kerubo, Mellen, Theresa; and Meshack, Nyamao, Mogire, Jared, Theresa, Eucabeth, the late Rebecca and Ruth. Grand daughter of the late Oigo, the late Ogake and Kemunto of Keumbu, Eremo village.

The cortege will depart from Nairobi on Friday, 24th July 2020 for her home in Kisii. The church service will then be held at home on the same day at Gianchere village, Birongo sub location, followed by burial thereafter.
