SOPHIA MUNEE MUNYAO

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Sophia Munyao which occurred on Friday 11th September 2020, after a long illness bravely borne.

Daughter of the late Daniel Maingi and late Elizabeth Wayua. Loving wife of the late Joseph Munyao Kikwau. Sister to the late Masai, late Mwende, Mutio, late Stanley, Veronica, Agneta and Waits. Doting mother to Penina Mumo (Kangundo High Sch), Reuben Muthembwa, Francis Maingi (NBK Mutomo), Anne Ngina (NHIF), John Kikwau, late Loise Mbaika, Sarah Katunge, Betty Wanza (KEMSA) and James Ndeto. Sister in law to late Ngina, Wanza, Sarah, Seth, Carol and Rose. Mother in law to James Nzioka (KEMSA), David Kiilu, Kitavi, Mwaura, Victoria and Rachel. Grandmother of the late Lucy, Geoffrey Kikwau (KRA), Sophie,Jjackline, Mbaika, Munee, Nick, Brian, Lee, Collins, Ashley, Shirleen, Baraka, Eric, Mitchel, Stacy, Abel, Joel, Nicole, Leon, Fabian and Wayua. Great Grandmother to Champ Liam and Lewis.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi on Tuesday 22nd Sept, 2020 at 7.30 am for burial in her home Kilalani village, Kangundo, Machakos county.
