It is with deep sorrow we, the Board of Management, Parents Association, Principal, Staff, Parents and Students of Alliance Girls’ High School announce the demise of our beloved student Stephanie Mary Opondo, on 05/12/2020, who was a form three student at our school, after a short illness.

Cherished daughter of Stephen Opondo and Fransisca Mukalama. Granddaughter of the late Gabriel Opondo, Mary Opondo, Clementina Opondo. Sister of Fiona and Brian Opondo. Niece of Wilfred, Jacinta, Dorcas, Humphrey, Charles, Leonard, Alloys, Wycliffe, Edwin, Charles, Josephine, Margaret, Hellen, Josephat, Charles and Christabel Opondo. Cousin of Vivian, Dr. Omondi, Claurance, Emma, Mary, Lorine, Ryan, Kezia, Jemima, Keith, Dan, Kyla, Elsie, Blessing, Fortune, Gabrine, Cynthia, Fiona among others.

There will be a requiem mass at the Canadian Matyrs Catholic Church, Nangina Friday 18th December, 2020.

The Funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday 19th December, 2020 at her grandfather’s home in Hakati village, Samia Sub-county Busia County.
