STEPHEN KARIUKI MUNGAI
It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance that the Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) Management and of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Stephen Kariuki Mungai, which occurred on Friday 13th November 2020 at 2300 hrs in Coptic Hospital, after a short illness. He was working at the KEFRI Headquarters.
Son of the late Nathaniel Mungai Kibindio and the late Helen Wachera Mungai. Husband of Jane Wairimu Kariuki. Father of Mercy Wachera, Victor Mungai, Jorum Njuguna and Naomy Njeri. Brother of Irene Njoki, the late Beatrice Wairimu, the late Phylis Wanjiku, Annie Njeri Mucheke (Dublin Ireland), Jacob Waritu, Pastor wa Kibindio, Paul Kinuthia and Simon Wanjora. Grandfather of Paul Kinuthia, Jane Murugi and Rachel Wanja Wanyoike.
Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial preparations at his home in Maragua Ridge Location Turiru Village.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Moneliza Funnel Home on Friday 20th November, 2020 at 8.00 am followed by funeral service in Maragua Ridge Location Turiru Village from 10.00am and thereafter an interment at his farm in Turiru.
