STEPHEN MAPENGU WANYAMA

We regret to announce the death of Stephen Mapengu Wanyama, formerly the Senior Deputy Secretary, in the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy, State Department for Broadcasting and Telecommunications.

He was husband to Karen Nekoye Nanjali, father to Emmanuel Nabiswa and Cassandra Naliaka.

Son to the late Joina Nasike and the late Philip Wanyama Lukuya. He was a step-son to Marisila Wanyama and the late Grace Wanyama. Brother to Dr. Wanyama, the late Joram, the late Emmanuel, Moses, and the late Beatrice. He was a step-brother to Eliud, the late Ramson, Felix, John, Charles, the late Zebedayo, Job, Ronald, the late Nelima, Nekesa, Naliaka, Judith Nafula and the late Nanjala.

Son-in-law to Maurice Nanjali and the late Elizabeth ‘7.Naliaka and Madam Benta Nabichenje. Brother-in-law to Sylvia,Violet, Evans, Elizabeth,Tom, Antony, Denis, George and Gloria. He was a cousin and uncle to many.

Mr. Wanyama will be laid to rest on Saturday, 27th May, 2023 at Baraki Village, Kapuchia Sub-County, Bungoma County.
