STEPHEN WAMBUGU WAITHIURU

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mr. Stephen Wambugu Waithiuru on 5th June 2024,

Son of Harun Wathiuru Mucheke and Mary Wangui Wathiuru and son-in-law of Ann Muthoni Mbogo.

He is a beloved friend and husband of Catherine Wanjugu, father to Joy Wangui and Angel Muthoni, Brother to the late Samuel Mwangi, Paul Maina, Sarah Nyambura, Peter Waiti, Jonah Mwangi, Rahab Wangechi, Ann Wanjiru, Daniel Kamau and Faith Wanjiru.

Mr. Stephen Wambugu worked as an Assistant County Commissioner and at the time of his death, he was posted at the Embu county commissioner’s office.

He was admitted at Nakuru County Level 5 Hospital on Tuesday, 4th June 2024 and treated for diabetes and hypertension. He succumbed to it on Wednesday, 5th June 2024.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his residence at Pondamali (Kipanga area-Nakuru) and at Salama, Elburgon at his parents’ residence for funeral arrangements.

The cortège leaves Nakuru County Level 5 Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 12th June 2024 at 08:00am.

Burial ceremony will be at Muchorwe, Kiambiriria, Molo Sub-County.

In God’s hands you rest our, in our hearts you will remain forever. Amen.
