SUSAN TAMINING KIPSEREM KIRUI

The death has occurred of Susan Tamining Kipserem Kirui of Chepkemel, Kipkarren Salient, Mosop Constituency, Nandi County after a short illness.

She was the wife of the late Zedekiah Kipserem Kirui. She was the mother to Dr. Alfred Serem (Moi University), Gilbert Serem (IEBC), Lucy Ruto (Tourism Regulatory Authority), Raymond Kirui (Teacher), Moses Serem (Judiciary), Joan Melli (CDF office Mosop Constituency), Zebby Kirui (NOREB), Lui Kirui (Regional Pastoral Livelihood Resilience Project, State Department of Livestock, Baringo County), Emily Kirui (Ministry of Health Nandi County Government), Kennedy Kirui (AFA-HCD) and David Kirui (VegPro company, Nairobi).

Grandmother to Lynda, Winnie, Allan, Darius, Lorraine, Sharon, Roy, Tony, Ronald, Rodney, Ruth, Robert, Ivy, Dennis, Ian, Alexander, Fidel, Bevin, Lynn, Fiona, the late Michael, Joachim, Mercy, Candice, Leila, Henry, Noela, Susan and Teddy. Great grandmother to Heidi Jematyan Rotich.

Daughter of the late Chepkutung Kimoning and Kimoi Kimoning and the grand daughter to the late Senior Chief Kimoning arap Cherono of Mutei Location, Keiyo. Daughter-in-law to the late Jason Kipkirui and Rebecca Kipkirui. Sister to the late Tapyotin Murei (Kosirai), Taprandich Maiyo (Kapkoi), the late Barsindet Chepkutung (Kapsisi), the late David Malakwen Chepkutung (Kapkoi), Tamurei Yator (Kapteren).

She was the sister in law to Jacob Kipserem Kirui Kirui, the late Martha Jerusio, the late Simian Kirui, the late Susan Jepkurgat, the late Agnes Jerige, the late Joash Kirui, Isaac Kirui, John Kipketer, Elizabeth Jeptanui and Elisha Kirui. Susan was the mother in Law to Lilian (Mai University), Jeniffer (Business), Meshack (Portland Cement), Rose (Business), Joice (Business), Melli (Nandi County Government), Herbert (KDF), Caroline (KIPPRA), Mustafa (Business) and Violet ( Teacher).

Aunt to Elijah, the late Musa, Raymond, Jacqueline, Wilson, Alex, Rael, Loice, Rose, Agnes, Nancy, Joan, Tito, jane, Caroline, Shadrack, Betty, Viola, Sammy, Lilian, Rogers, Laban, Esther, the late Caroline, Mary, Jane, Anna, Samwel and Luka among many.

She was Pamwai to Kapkoross (Cherangany), Kapjosiah (Kipsangui), Kapnyango (Kapchumo), Kapnathaniel (Kabiyet), Mukabwa (Mukumu), Kapbarngetuny (Nandi Hills), Kapsang (Chepkumia), Chore (Matunda), Kapyusuf (Kesses), Baraza Teso).

The cortege leaves Eldoret hospital on Monday 6th September 2021 for home and prayers.

She will be laid to rest on Tuesday 7th September 2021 starting at 9.30 am at their home in Chepkemel, Kipkarren Salient, Mosop Constituency, Nandi County.
