TERESA GATHONI MBUGU

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mrs.Teresa Gathoni Mbugu, that occurred on Friday 23rd June, 2023 at Aga Khan Hospital – Nairobi.

Beloved wife of Mr. Paul Mbugu of Ngangarithi, Nyeri.

Daughter of the late Paul Ngaruiya and the late Margaret Warijiru. Sister to the late Muthigani, the late Stephen Wachira, the late Mary Kagure, the late David Theuri. Sister-in-law to many.

Daughter-in-law of the late Kabugua Mbugu and Susan Njoki.

Loving mother to Ann Wambere of Giakanja High School, Sr. Veronica Wanjiru of Little sisters of St. Francis of Assisi, Florence Wachuka of Thunguri Primary School, Elizabeth Kagure (business), Timothy Murimi of Waumini Sacco Ltd and James Matu of Aga Khan Hospital.

Mother-in-law to Edwin Muhande of Lancet Kenya, Gloria Wangechi of Biashara Sacco Nyeri and Hendrietta Mkala of Nairobi.

Grandmother to Maurice, Edward, Chris, Brian, Erica, Aliana, Jean, Ivanna, Jilian, Teresa, and Austin. She was an aunt to many.

The cortege leaves St Michaels Funeral home Mathari Nyeri on Tuesday 4th July, 2023 at 8:00am for a requiem mass at 9:30am at St. Charles Lwanga Cathqlic Church, Ngangarithi – Nyeri and thereafter she will be laid to rest at her Ngangarithi home in Nyeri.
