TERESIAH WANGUI KARANJA
It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Teresiah Wangui Karanja.
Daughter of James Mwangi Gakinyangi and Karen Wambui Mwangi of Karia-ini Village Kigumo Sub-County, Murang’a County. Wife to Alex Karanja Mwangi formerly of Gatanga Sub County. Mother to Kelvin Mark Mbui Karanja of AMICA Sacco and Morgan Gituire Karanja of Opera News Nairobi. Sister to Evelyne Wanjiru (Matasia), the late Stephen Ng’ang’a (Mwalimu Gakinyangi), Gregory Mburu (Maji House), Alice Waithira Gitau, Mary Wamaitha Kigera, and Felister Njoki, sister-in-law to Elizabeth Wanjiku Mburu, Gitau Gerishon, and Peter Kigera. Daughter in law to the late Erastus Mwangi Kamau and the late Rakeri Waithira Mwangi of Mathare-ini Village Kigumo Sub-County, Murang’a County. Sister in law to the late Francis Mburu Mwangi and Veronica Nyambura Mburu, Phillip Kinuthia Mwangi and Mary Wanjiku Kinuthia (Murang’a Town), Lawrence Macharia Mwangi and the late Sarah Njoki Macharia, the late Geoffrey Kimani Mwangi and Mary Ruguru Kimani. She was a Cousin, Aunt, and Grandmother to many.
Friends and relatives are meeting at Murang’a Courtyard Hotel and her home in Ex-Samar Maragua near the DO’s Office.
The cortege leaves Monalisa Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati along Thika-Kenol road on Friday, June 26, 2020, at 9.00 a.m. for the funeral service and burial at her husband’s farm in Ex-Samar near Maragua DO ‘s office.
Eternal Rest Grant unto Her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul rest in heavenly bliss.
