THADDEUS ORARE OANYA

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the passing of Thaddeus Orare Oanya which occurred on 5th January 2025 after a short illness.

At the time of demise, he was the Director Vocational and Technical Education at the Ministry of Education.

He was a loving husband of Joyce Kemunto Osano (Utawala). Father of the late Frank and Diana.

Son of the late Henry Oanya and Priscah Moraa. Son in-law of Samuel Osano and Esther Osano of Amasago Village, the late Nyamwaya, Ndege, Maraga, Osano, Mosotas, Nyambongi, the late Nyakundi and Monda.

Brother of Fred, Dismus, Macarius, Justus, Stella, the late Veronicah, Syphrose, Regina, the late Delvin and Caro. Father-in-Law of Philip Maina, Grandfather of Nathaniel and Joshua.

Brother in-law of Florence, Anne, Betty, the late Jane Leonard, the late Dennis, Eric, Rose, Kevin and Fedinard.

Nephew of the late Ambrose, the late Morris, the late Yuvinalis, the late Kayogo, Ogoti Onyambu, the late Elizabeth, Kemunto, Consibita, Sabina, the late Teresia and the late Agnes and the late Scholastica.

Cousin and Uncle to many.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on 16 th January 2025 to his residential home in Utawala for overnight vigil, burial to be held on 17th January 2025 at his home in Utawala near Kincar.
