Thairu Ragui Kigera

It is with God’s love and Grace that we wish to announce the resting of our beloved patriarch, Mr. Thairu Ragui Kigera of Gikambura, Gicharani. He was a retired business man. Thairu rested on the evening of Thursday 2nd April 2020 at Kikuyu Hospital. He lived a fulfilled life.

Son of the late Ragui Kigera and the late Mbaire Ragui. Brother of Wangari, Njeri and Muchendu all late. Brother in law, uncle, cousin, and a friend to many. Beloved husband to Mrs. Florence Wambui Thairu. Father of Alice Mbaire, Mugi Thairu, Ngugi Thairu, Njumbi Thairu, Ndungu Thairu, Wangari Kariuki and Kamau Thairu. Father in law to James Muturi, Lucy Wangeci,Virginia Ngugi (late), Wangu Thairu, Kariuki KK and Susan Wanjiku.

Guka was also a devoted and loving grandfather of Francis Thairu, Suzzanne Mumbi, Nancy Wambui, David Muturi, Thairu Mugi, Thuku Mugi, Florence Mugi, Wanjiku Mwangi, Thairu Ngugi, Wambui Ngugi, Thairu Njumbi, Wambui Njumbi, Mugi Njumbi, Shuj Thairu, Penzy Thairu, Mukami Kariuki, Dennis Njenga and Virginia Wanjuhi. He is survived by many great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Kikuyu hospital on Thursday 9th April 2020 at 7am. Thereafter burial service will take place at his home in Gikambura. Due to Covid-19 outbreak, the Government directive for burial service is limited to only immediate family members.
