THE LATE MRS. EVELYN SOTE CHEBOIWO

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mrs. Evelyn Sote Cheboiwo which occurred on 17th January, 2024. She was an active leader of the AIC Church in Baringo and a community leader.

Wife to the late Rev. Michael Kimosop Cheboiywo. Mother to the late Julius Kipkorir, the late David Kibet, Anthony, Mary, Daniel, Justus, Brenda and Kibiwot.

Daughter of the late Chelal Cheromit, the late Tarkok and the late Kabon Chelal.

Daughter-in-law of the late Cheboiwo Kiptenlakwa and the late Mokio Kogop Kandie.

Mother in-law to Catherine, Esther, Christine, Haron Kibogong, Florence, Caroline and Dr. Victor Ombeka.

Grandmother to Hilda, Tony, Sharon, Jeff, Cohen, Jayden, Lydia, Richard, Jeremy, Brian, Linda, Carol, Jackline, Chantal, Tracy, Ivy, Roy, Raphael, Kayla, Justin, Jesse, Albert, Leon, Natalie and Allan. Great grandmother to Favour and Koros.

Sister to Nicholas, Sote Chepkurwo, Andrew, Dinah Mwaita, the late Sote Chebogoge and the late Harun.

Sister-in-law to Kipsetim Cheboiywo, Hon. Sammy Mwaita, the late Sote Kaptomno, the late Laban Cheruiyot, the late Sote Kaplimo, the late Chepkoros, the late Elijah Kendagor and the late Esleen Bett.

In-law to the late Kibowen Tandui, the late Kiplagat Arap Serem, Samwel Moiben, the late Kibogong Kiloo, the late Snr. Chief Changole, Maj. (Rtd) Wilson Chesire and Caleb Otieno. Cousin to many.

The burial will be held on Saturday, 27th of January, 2024 at her home in Benonin Village, Eldama Ravine, Baringo County.

Meetings are ongoing at home Benonin and in Nairobi at AIC Milimani Church from 5.30 pm.
