THOMAS ORIWO OCHIENG

Sunrise: June 14, 1970 – Sunset: October 4, 2021

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden and sad demise of Thomas Oriwo Ochieng which occurred on Monday October 4, 2021.

Son of the late James Phillip Ochieng and Grace Ochieng. Thomas is survived by his loving wife Prisca Oluoch, Director, Linkages and Collaborations at the Kenya School of Government. Son in-law to Apollo Richard Oluoch .and Grace Oluoch. Brother to Harrison Oyolla, Erick Ogolla, Mary Gichuki and Catherine Awino and a brother in-law to Hellen, David and Shiko, Henry and Betty Owiti, Rosemary and Aloise Omita, James and “Salome Oluoch, the late Helen and Richard Etemesi, Anne and Stanley Kangahi and Philip and Lilian Otigo. Loving uncle to many nephews and nieces.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Gobei to organise for his send off.

The cortege will leave Star Mortuary, Kisumu on October 11, 2021 at 8:00am for burial at his home in Gobei behind Gobei Health Centre in Bondo, Gobei Sub-County, Siaya County. Burial service will be conducted at the homestead, on October 11, 2021 from 10:00 am
