It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on ofTimothy Kirungu Mungatana which occurred on 28th April 2020 at the Nairobi Hospital High Dependency Unit.

He was the son of the Late William M. Mungatana and the late Mwalimu Mary Rehema. Husband of the late Catherine Kamunde of Somak Safaris and Ruth Ngige — ABSA Bank of Kenya, father of Calvin Kirungu Mungatana and Nathan Mungatana Kirungu. Beloved brother of Leah Malika Mungatana —office of the Sub County Police Commander, Kakamega Central, Eng. Mwaka Mungatana of Tsavo Power Company, Pauline Mungatana Jillo Utalii college, Hon. Eunice Mungatana former CEC TRCG, Tatty Wilson Kaumbi, the late Irene Harhwobva Kaumbi — Ministry of Health and Eunice Hasango Kaumbi of Tegla Loroupe Peace Foundation.

Brother in law of Dr. Susan Murage Mwaka of Pwani University, Mr. Aggrey Yeswa — former Barclays Bank, the Late Jillo Nkaduda — former Kenya Polytechnic among others. Beloved cousin, uncle and friend to many.

There will be a requiem mass at KU funeral home chaplain on 21st May 2020 at 10am.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday 22nd May 2020 at 6.00am. Funeral service and burial will take place at Hiari, Ngao Village, Tana Delta on the 23rd May 2020 from 10:00am at the same place.
