We regret to announce the passing on of Tirus Mwangi Kanyugo (Bush) on 17th July 2024.

Loving husband of the late Esther Gathoni.

Loving Father of James Kanyugo (MCA Mahiga Ward and majority leader County Assembly of Nyeri), Beatrice Wambui Waweru, Cecilia Wangui Maina (Head Teacher Munaini Comprehensive School), Gerald Kimondo, Hellen Wanjiru Wambugu (Muruguru Girls), the late Julia Wairimu, Loise Wothaya Ngure (Kahuhia Girls), Jotham Theuri (Deputy Principal Njiruini Sec Sch) and the late Daniel Gitonga.

Father in-law of Catherine Karimi Kanyugo, Peter Waweru Gathua, Stephen Maina Mwangi, Esther Nyambura Kimondo, Joseph Wambugu Muriithi, John Ngure Wamuya (Deputy Principal Kiaguthu Boys) and Margaret Wakiuru Theuri (Gachiriro Pry Sch).

Grandfather and Great Grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kagere- Mahiga ward, Othaya Nyeri for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) on Thursday 25 th July, 2024 at 8.00a.m.

Funeral service will take place at Kagere Primary School grounds, thereafter burial at his Farm in Kimumu Village.

Eternal Rest grant unto him oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen
