TOBIAS JOSHUA OYUGI

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Tobias Joshua Oyugi on 8th December 2023.

He was the son of the late Barnaba Ong’aro and the late Dorca Tabitha Nyanga, step son to Dorsi Oloo. Son-in-law to the late Snr Chief John Robert Ang’awa and Mikal Angawa.

He was the husband of Doreen Oyugi. Father to Douglas Oyugi, Paul Oyugi, Millicent Oyugi Madara, Dr David Oyugi
and Alan Oyugi.

Uncle to Caroline, Judy, Millicent, Odhiambo, Allan, Leah, the late Awuor, Bob,Tom, the late John Okongo, Linda, Robert, Ben, Mikalo, David, Elizabeth, Lavender, Dorcas, Jackie, Lynne Michael, Jane Opondo, Helen Ondego, David Ondego, Malaki Ondego Jedidiah Ondego, Jackie, the late Raymond, the late Evans, Carol, Lynn and the late
Lorraine among others.

Cousin the late Hesbon Ochieng, to the late Jonathan Wandolo, the late Odinga, the late W. Onyango, Lucas Oloo and Jennifer Akinyi Okinda among others.

Grandfather to Hazel, Hawi, Kyle, Udi, Chiwo, Eliah and Robin.

Father-in-law to Anne Schmilinsky Oyugi, Hedrick Musonye Oyugi, Daudi Madara, Lillian Nyangate Oyugi and the late Zarouf Agalochieng Oyugi and Lorna Odero.

Brother-in-law to Martha Ondego,Grace Ang’awa, Alice Ang’awa, Steven Ong’ala Ang’awa , Elijah Olulo Ang’awa, Boaz Ang’awa, Jane Opondo, Helen Ondego, David Ondego, Malaki Ondego, Jedidiah Ondego, Lorna Odero, the late Dr William Odongo Omamo, the late William Wanjare Ang’awa, the late Enos Jura and Millicent Amolo.

We wish to thank all the doctors and nurses who attended to him during his illness including but not limited to Dr Lodenyo, Dr Muema, Dr Cosmas and the nurses.

His funeral will take place on the 20th December 2023 at his home in Alego, Siaya.
