TSHAZI WELLINGTON OKOTH-OGENDO

It is with great sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Tshazi Wellington Okoth-Ogendo after a short illness on 21 st July 2024.

He was the beloved son of the late Prof. H.W.O. Okoth-Ogendo and Ruth Okoth-Ogendo.

Brother of Niki Kagwa (USA), Rodney Okoth, Wilfred Okoth Jr. & Annmarie Okoth. Grandson of the late Samuel Ogendo and the late Jennifer Akumu Ogendo, the late Laban Tako and the late Joyce Tako.

Loving husband of Winnie Okoth, doting father to Liyana Okoth.

Son-in-law of Obed Okoth & Roseline Okoth.

Brother in-law of John Gasuza Kagwa (USA), Muthoni Okoth, Steve Okoth & Michelle Okoth Uncle of Malaki, Elijah, Nebiah, Jeremiah, Ariela & Aria among others.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday 1st August 2024 at 9:00 a.m. for a Church service at Nairobi Chapel, Ngong Road from 10:00 a.m.

Burial is on Saturday 3rd August 2024 at his ancestral home in KwaKungu Village, Gem Rae Location, Kisumu County.
