VIOLET WANJUGU KARIUKI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mrs. Violet Wanjugu Kariuki on 3rd August, 2020 in Virginia, USA.

Daughter of the late Eutychus Kanyuira Munuhe and the late Keziah Nyakeru Kanyuira of Ihwagi. Wife of S. Kariuki Kamanjiri. Mother of Nyakinyua Kariuki, Karuga Kariuki and Faith Kariuki. Daughter-in-law of the late Eutychus Kamanjiri and the late Flora Nyakinyua Kamanjiri of Tumutumu. Sister of the late Olivia Wang’ombe, Elizabeth Thimba, Rodrick Munuhe, Charles Mathenge, the late Jane Wambui, Patrick Thoithi, Eva Gitau, Onesmus Gathogo, Beatrice Wambui and Purity Manyali. Sister-in-law of Lydia Nyakeru, the late James Waweru, the late Julia Muthoni, Esther Muringe, Mercy Waniiku, the late Charles Njora, Jayne Kamanjiri and Robert Mwangi. She was an Auntie, Cousin, Grandmother, and friend to many.

A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Lynchburg, Virginia, USA on Saturday August 15th, 2020 at 2PM (9PM Kenya Time) which can be accessed from their Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.corn/firstpresoflynchburerefid=12).
