VIRGINIA MURINGI RUGUARU

It is with great sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Virginia Muringi Ruguaru on 21st of March 2023 after a long illness bravely borne.

Beloved daughter of the late Arthur Mwangi Gachanja and the late Phyllis Wangeci Mwangi.

Loving mother to Robert Gachanja Ruguaru, Anne Wanjiru Ruguaru, Phyllis Wangechi Ruguaru and Nelly Waceke Ruguaru.

She was the last born sister to the late Milka Wairimu Kamina, the late Fredrick Douglas Thuo Mwangi, the late Hannah Muthoni Maina, Leah Njeri Runo, the late Naomi Wangari, Olipha Mukami Kirundi, the late Jonathan Waititu Mwangi and Laban Karue Mwangi.

Grandmother to Bilal Berhe, Trevor Maina, Jordan Ruguaru, Kaycee Ruguaru, the late Elijah Ruguaru and Ryan Ruguaru.

Mother-in-law to Kimberly Ruguaru, Oral Harris, Chad Whitley. A Friend / mentor / cousin / sister-in-law / Auntie to many.

Meetings and prayers will be held at All Saints Cathedral starting from Tuesday 28th March to Friday 31 March 2023 starting from 5:00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral-Home (Thika Road) on Tuesday 4th April 2023 at 8. am for the funeral service to be held at ACK St. Stephen’s Church Njumbi at 11.00am, followed by burial at Nyakianga, Njumbi, Muranga County.
