It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Virginia Wakio Kagondu after an illness bravely borne on Saturday 11th November, 2023 at Outspan Hospital – Nyeri.

Beloved Wife to Geoffrey Wambugu Kagondu. Adored Mother to Anthony Kagondu, Daniel Githinji, Ruth Wangui and Mary Wanjiru. Mother-in-law to Margaret, Charity, Andrew and the late Gideon. Loving Grandmother to Ian, Ivy, Troy, Sean, Ryan, Tatyana and many others.

Daughter to the late Daniel Githinji and the late Mary Wanjiru Githinji of Kahuho Location, Kabete Constituency in Kiambu County. Daughter-in-law to the late Arthur Theuri and the late Ruth Wangui Theuri of lhithe, Tetu Constituency in Nyeri County.

Sister to the late Lucy Wanjiku and the late Douglas Weru, Charles Kiriba Githinji, Margaret Mumbi and the late David Njau, Grace Ndiiti and Douglas Mugo, Stephen Mwathi and Lucy Wairimu, Phillis Mwihaki and Njuguna Kiama, the late Eliud Mungai, the late Francis Mwathi and Catherine Kanini, Peter Kinyanjui and Catherine Wambui.

Sister-in-law to the late Wangari Karuru and the late Benjamin Karuru, the late Francis Ndericu and the lace Bilha Nderitu, the late Wambui Githaiga and the late Francis Githaiga, the late Wachuka Kamau and the late Zablon Kamau, the late Cyrus Wanguku and the late Annie Wanguku, the late Stine Mukami, Eunice Nyakwea Wai and the late Dunstan Wai, the late Margaret Nyanku Ngugi and the late Ngiigi Mwathi.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family hone in Ihithe Sub-Location Tetu Constituency, Nyeri County at 4.00pm.

The cortege will leave Outspan Funeral Home on Thursday 16th November, 2023 at 8:30am .The funeral service and burial will be held at her Mahe homestead from 10.00am.
