WAKILI CHARLES MURIGI NGUGI

1963 — 3rd July, 2023

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Charles Murigi Ngugi of C.M. Ngugi Rebiro & Co. Advocates who passed away at Avenue Hospital – Nairobi, where he was rushed on 3rd July, 2023, after a short illness.

Son of the late Shealtiel Ngugi Rebiro and the late Esther Wamburu Ngugi. Step-son to Mary Wambui Ngugi.

Son-in-law to the late Fausto Muthua and Mary Wambui Muthua.

Husband to Teresia Njeri Murigi (CM Ngugi Rebiro & Co. Advocates (Kenol)). Father to Alex Ngugi Murigi, Mark Muthua Murigi and Kelvin Ngugi Murigi.

Brother to Rose Nyokabi Ndungu, Joyce Wanjiru Ngugi, Pauline Wanjiku Ngige, the late Alice Wambui Thuku, Elizabeth Njeri Gachugi, James Nyoike Ngugi, the late Samuel Ng’ang’a Ngugi and Mercy Wamaitha Ngugi. Step-brother to Julius Rebiro Ngugi, the late Michael Ng’ang’a Ngugi, Peter Ng’uthu Ngugi, Bernard Njenga Ngugi, Rose Nyokabi Ngugi, Gilbert Gatehi Ngugi, Monica Njoki Ngugi, Stanely Manore Ngugi, Nelson Ndaru Ngugi.

Brother-in-law to Margaret Wanjiru Mwaura, Esther Muthoni Wokabi, Stephen Irungu Muthua,Veronica Wanjiku Muthua and David Kamau Muthua.

Family and friends are meeting at his homes in Marurui, Nairobi County, and Muruka village in Kandara constituency, Murang’a County daily at 5.00pm and at Roasters Inn, Thika Road (Devolution Hall), from 6.00pm.

There will be a requiem mass on Thursday, 6th July, 2023, at St. Mary Catholic Church – Marurui, from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Thika Road, on Saturday, 8th July 2023, for a funeral service in Muruka, Kandara Constituency, Murang’a County at 11:00am and thereafter the burial at his home in Muruka.
