It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we, The Bangiri family announce the death of Wilfred Nyauma Bangiri of Nyamiranga village, Borabu, Nyamira County that occurred at Mediforte Hospital – Kisii, on Saturday 8th May, 2021.

Son of the late Chiesigori Bangiri Nyauma and the late Basibika Kerubo of Nyamiranga village Nyamira County. He also had two step mothers the late Hellen Moraa and Yusaria Nyaboke. A loving husband of the late Jane Moraa, a father of Joshua, Nyaboke, Nyanchoka, Mokeira, Gladys, Teresa, the late Mary, Moi, Hyline, Zipporah, Robert, Ruth, and Onkundi Jared. A father-in-law of Callen, Jommo, Okenyuri, Joseph, David, George, Sangara, Susan, Timu, Daniel, Millicent, Malachi USA) Moriasi (USA) and others.

Brother-in-law of Agnes, Kerubo and Faith. Grandfather of 43 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 9 great-grandchildren.

Brother of Josephine, Callen, the late Nelson Nyauma, Veronica, Esther, Teresa Nyaboke Muma (USA), Elizabeth, Nyanchoka, Florence, Nyaera, Violet, Ogechi, Ondieki and Sitori. Uncle of Josephine,

Callen, the late Nelson Nyauma, Veronica, Esther, Teresa Nyaboke Muma (U.S.A), Elizabeth, Nyanchoka, Florence, Nyaera, Violet, Ogechi, Ondieki and Sitori families.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his homes in Kineni, Mokomoni and Nyamiranga villages and virtual meetings WhatsApp groups have been set up for funeral arrangements.

There will be a funds drive to assist in medical and funeral expenses on 17th May, 2021, at his homes.

The cortege leaves Nyamira funeral home- Nyamira on Wednesday 19th May, 2021 for service and burial on the same day at his Nyamiranga home. All covid19 protocols will be adhered to.
